In connection with your letter, ref. no YPEN/DIPA/55345/3734, dated May 15, 2026 regarding the investment proposal “Extraction and Processing of Polymetallic Ores from the ‘Rozino’ Deposit in the Tintyava Area, located within the villages of Rozino and Gugutka, Ivaylovgrad Municipality, Haskovo Province, commissioned by “Tintyava Exploration” AD, we would like to inform you of the following:

We hereby inform you that the comments on the transboundary section of the EIA report have been submitted to the contracting authority as part of the procedure under Article 5 of the Convention on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context. 

After reviewing the issues you raised, please find attached responses/comments in Greek and English regarding initial observations on the environmental impact assessment for your review, as well as a statement in English from the “Strashimir Dimitrov” at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Please provide your comments on the environmental impact assessment in transboundary context documentation submitted to you within 30 days.

If the deadline is insufficient, please notify us in a timely manner.

We also inform you that the official letter will be sent to you through diplomatic channels.
